About Us
ME Accountants Limited was established in 2019.
With over 30 years of experience as a Chartered Accountant – 25 of those based at accounting firms in Te Awamutu – Mark Evans, founder, and owner, decided to take the leap and establish his own practice in his home village, Pirongia – at the base of Pirongia Mountain in the beautiful rural Waikato.
Mark’s move was inspired by his desire to operate a business tailored to his client’s individual needs with a fresh approach using the latest accounting methods and technology.
Mark is joined by a team of 10 dedicated staff members with a wide range of professional experience and backgrounds. Passionate about making a difference – it is the team’s main purpose to support the success of our clients to improve their overall wellbeing.
Community proud – ME Accountants serves a wide range of local businesses and individuals throughout the Waipa region, but also proudly serves a wide range of clients further afield in both the North and South Island.
A staunch rugby follower, ME Accountants proudly sponsors Pirongia Rugby Football Club. You will find Mark, who proudly coached the last competitive under 19 rugby team in the Waikato, standing at the sideline down at the Club most Saturday afternoons and always enjoys a yarn about the latest rugby stories.
